11/29/2023 0 Comments Tutorial affinity publisher![]() I greatly appreciate work in preparing an organized list of official Affinity Publisher tutorials. Fortunately at least one individual with his own web site prepared an organized list of the old Vimeo tutorials and that is still available. I myself downloaded most of them when that was possible since I've learned never to depend on any company to keep useful information online. Surely they are not all considered outdated. There were some 225 tutorials at that time. I wish Affinity had not hidden its old Photo tutorials when 1.7 was released. The iPad page is worse as the moving ribbon of tutorials is grayed out in my Vivaldi browser and so barely readable and extremely difficult to browse. Also, there is no way to download the tutorials. ![]() You are probably better off using some general web search engine to find Affinity Photo tutorials instead of going directly to the Affinity page on Vimeo. The Search box is not very useful unless you know exactly what you are looking for. The date of posting is not shown so you cannot tell if any particular video is new or months old. The pages are not numbered so there is no way to orient yourself within the random display. The videos are not in any discernible order so there is no efficient way to browse for something you might need. At this moment for Photo Desktop there are 7 pages with 9 tutorials each plus an 8th page with one tutorial. I will push for some consistency."įor Affinity Photo I hope you will also push for some organization to the display of those tutorials. ![]() Update to Connor said "There is an Affinity Photo Desktop and Affinity Photo iPad channel on VimeoPro already I have no idea why there is not an equivalent for Designer, Designer iPad and Publisher, other than the time it takes to do.
11/28/2023 0 Comments Age of wonders planetfall walkthrough![]() ![]() You don't need to make the quests a priority, but they aren't that hard and sometimes give something useful as a reward.Įxpansion-wise, it's actually not that difficult. But with 55-60 turns of guaranteed peace? You can completely ignore that and become the god of research (and cityspam until your continent is full). The arctic start, with low energy and close to zero food, would be very harsh on a normal game. Try not to colonise the sectors involved to avoid triggering this bug. Note that the quests might be unprogressable if you triggered them before the bugfix. Once you blow all 5 reactors, the cover-blown will stop rising, the two will declare war on each other and you have free reign to do anything you want. It's not that difficult when you consider that neither enemy will ever declare war on you and you can use that to your advantage by fully devoting yourself to expanding and doing quests. So your time limit is 55-60 turns to complete the story quests up until you blow up all 5 reactors. The AI will scout you within the first 10 turns even if you try to stay out of contact. Both will require you to pick the right choices, but you can just save/load to check. There are two main strategies, one with full stealth and one where you plan to declare war. And the AIs are scripted to never declare war on you until you lose your cover, so you have fifty turns to do literally anything, including run around with only 6 units. Yeah I think the people who say this mission is too difficult are missing that bit: If you pick the "correct" option at each interrogation question, your cover-blown does not rise at all, meaning that with the 2% per turn rise you have a full fifty turns from first contact. 11/28/2023 0 Comments First senior moment![]() "He's got guns as big as my thighs," Biden cooed. A score higher than 32 in the DFI is considered as a severe AH and mortality rates are close to 65% at 28 d. Among the many scoring systems, the DFI is the most used. There are several prognostic models to assess severity in patients with AH including the Maddrey’s discriminant function index (DFI), the Glasgow AH score (GAHS), the age- bilirubin- international normalized ratio (INR) - creatinine (ABIC) score, the Lille score and the model for end-stage liver disease (MELD). Therefore, assessment of the disease severity becomes an important and practical issue for clinicians involved in the management of patients with AH. Patients with severe AH have been reported to have 30-d mortality up to 50%. Its spectrum is wide and ranges from a silent disease to fulminant liver failure with a high mortality rate. This entity is an acute form of alcohol induced liver injury that is seen in patients who consume large quantities of alcohol during a prolonged period of time. AH was first described by Gordon Beckett in 1961 and clinical description of the syndrome is still valid after 50 years. Chronic alcohol consumption is the leading cause of liver failure in our country, and alcohol intake > 120 g/d is a factor associated with the development of alcoholic hepatitis (AH). It is estimated that 6% of the Mexican population is dependent on alcohol which equals to 4.9 million people. Our results show that MELD-Na is a more valuable model than DFI to predict short-term mortality. MELD-Na was the only predictive factor for mortality at 90 d. Child stage, encephalopathy, ascites, or types of treatment were not associated with mortality. ![]() In the univariate analysis, sodium levels was associated with mortality at 30 and 90 d ( P = 0.001 and P = 0.03).
